The joy of iPhoto

I'm enjoying iPhoto on my new iMac and how easy it is to upload. I added a number of photos to our flickr account. Check them out.

Kurt is 10

Kurt's birthday week began with a trip to Washington, DC. We visited the National Portrait Gallery, Chinatown (for dinner), The Washington Monument, The Lincoln Memorial, walked by the White House, The American History Museum, The Natural History Museum, went swimming at our hotel, The National Geographic Museum, The Sackler Gallery and The Air and Space Museum. We did all this in about 48 hours.

You can grow up (a little) but you can't take the bathroom humor out of a boy.

Next up, was Kurt's family dinner. Kurt chose an Indian lamb and pea dish, sticky rice, and lima beans. We had a small cake (chocolate, of course).

The grand finale, was a party with a few of Kurt's friends. Highlights included chasing each other with sticks in the back yard, burping at each other, pizza and cake, watching the Little Rascals.

It's a Draw

Here's a couple of recent drawings from Kurt and Erich. I'm loving my new printer/all-in-one which is only feet away from my computer as opposed to on the third floor.

Write On

Although one would think at times from the boys reactions, that in this house the act of writing is a legalized form of torture, Kurt and Erich have been working hard on their writing as evidenced below.

My Boys

Patriotic Pics

Last night, that was a great "Welcome Home" for a soldier that lived a few blocks up our street. We walked up and Kurt took some pictures.
